We uncover several important details of Lina's life based on where several clues take us. According to Louisiana Census records from 1910 she and her family immigrated from Italy to New Orleans, Louisiana in the year 1900. Her Mother Rosalie was a 48 year-old widow, she had two older Sisters, Annie (29), Mary (25), and three younger siblings. Sister Mamie was 14, and Brothers Joseph (12) and Nicholas (9). Lina just 17 when the census was taken on April 25th, 1910 works as a cigar roller to help in support of the now Fatherless family.

On March 5th, 1912 a marriage license was issued to a 19 year old Lena Ranera / Lena Ronera ( Spelled both ways depending on the specific document ) and 21 year old Jake Pizzoloto in Tampa, Florida. ( I believe this to be our subject "Lina"and her fiance ) Jake was a dry-goods salesman of Italian descent who hailed from New Orleans, Louisiana but by 1910 lived in the Sunshine State of Florida and the City of Tampa with his parents Salvatore and Marie. He was the oldest of five children born to his parents. His younger siblings were Anthony, Lilie, Nicholas, and Rita.

We know not how but on Monday March 2nd, 1914 Lina would lose her life at just 21 years old. Despite attempting a slew of both first and last name variations I was unable to locate any further details of Lina's life or her demise.
