Here's a clue which may or may not help in your search... Eliza Jane (20) is buried in the Mathews cemetery @ Seffner, Florida. She is the only person within the cemetery having the surname "Caldon" and lies prominently in the midst of nothing but Mathews descendants. It would appear as though she has some kind of connection to the family hence her place of burial. Was she a fiancé, a servant, is their another possibility as to why she was held with such high regard when she took her last breath nearly 149 years ago in April of 1873 ??
Good luck and happy hunting !!!
