Joseph "Jose" Augustine Rosello Jr. was born in Tampa, Florida more than 111 years ago on July 9th, 1909 to his Father, Joseph "Jose" the senior and Mother, Pauline Silva a native of Brooklyn, New York.

Although the circumstances from the time are not entirely clear, Joseph was the only child born to his Mother and Father as a variety of documents indicate that the marriage was short-lived. His Mother, Pauline was 16 when he was born and his Father, 20. He had many Maternal and Paternal 1/2 siblings after his parents both remarried.
According to Florida Census records from 1930 this evenings honoree is living with siblings and employed as a cigar maker. By 1940 Mr. Rosello lives with his Fathers extended family and is employed as an auto mechanic. On October 16th of that same year, Joseph Augustine completes his military draft registration. By this time he had married but it was short-lived ended in divorce and did not result in the birth of any children.
On May 13th, 1942 Mr. Rosello officially enlists with the United States Army Air Force as America rampa up its involvement in the Second World War. He bravely serves his country for the entirety of the war having achieved the rank of Corporal before receiving an honorable discharge on Saturday October 20th, 1945.
On June 15th, 1947 Joseph marries 20 year old Aurentina Cubero Mendez in Tampa, Florida. Together the couple have. a single Daughter by the name of Lydia and Sons Rene, Daniel, and George Rosello.
Following the conclusion of the war other than a singular event, Mr. Rosello leads a relatively unassuming life while caring for his family.
** On Monday October 3rd, 1955 this evening's honoree would lose his Father Joseph "Jose" Rosello the senior. He was sixty seven.
On Monday August 16th, 1965 Mr. Rosello who at the time worked for Cacciatore Meat Packers of Tampa and was driving one of their commercial vehicles was involved in a fatal collision which resulted in the death of a vacationing Georgia Woman. No charges were ever filed in the unfortunate accident.

For reasons we know not, Mr. Rosello loses his life on Thursday August 10th, 1972. He was sixty three.
