Jose Ysidron
Jose Ysidron ( Isidron ) was born more than 157 years ago in Cienfuegos, Cuba on September 2nd, 1862 to his Father Florentino ( Isidron ) and Mother Antonia Diaz.

• On February 6th, 1862 General Ulysses S. Grant gives the United States its first victory of the American Civil War by capturing Fort Henry, Tennessee.
• On March 31st, 1862 Victor Hugo's epic French historical novel Les Misérables is published.
• On July 1st, 1862 U.S. President Abraham Lincoln signs into law the Pacific Railroad Acts, authorizing construction of the First Transcontinental Railroad.

Jose immigrates to the United States and the Port of Tampa when he was 15 years old in 1877.
Mr Ysidron would marry his Wife Luciana Almieda in 1891 when he was 29 and she just 15. Together they would raise a family in the Sunshine State of Florida @ the city of Tampa where Jose supports them in the field of cigar making.
According Florida State Census records from 1910, Matriarch Luciana had given birth to six children but only five were still living. The couple had four Son's (Joseph, Ernest, George and Richard) and a single Daughter, Pura. As you can here, they would lose their Son George 9 years later on February 20th 1919 when he was a month shy of his 13th birthday. According to his death certificate George's demise came from a combination of peritonitis, an infection that can rapidly spreads into the blood and typhoid fever.
Jose would continue to work in Tampa cigar factories until 1934 when he was 72 years of age as his health began to fail. Four years later, on February 18th, 1939 he would lose his life at the age of 76 from the effects of prostate cancer.
