Harry Henry was the eldest child born to his Mother and Father. He had a younger Brother, Charley who was born four years later in 1896 and a Sister, Florence enters the World on May 12th, 1900.

Kerr Patriarch Charles supports his family in the booming cigar industry as a cigar maker here in Tampa, Florida.

By 1915 Harry Henry takes a job at the Strand theater as a moving picture projectionist. A career he would embrace for the rest of his life !!

Harry would enlist with the United States Navy on July 25th, 1917 with whom he would serve throughout the duration of the First World War and beyond. Mr. Kerr would be discharged on November 29th, 1919 when he was 27 years old.

Two years after the war's conclusion Harry Henry marries 18 year old Dorothy Glatzeil. Together they would have two Sons during the course of their marriage. Harry Junior and Alton.

In the early 1920's Harry Henry would open a successful but controversial dancehall ... He was brought up on charges multiple times over many years for disturbing the peace and operating this type of business on a Sunday.

Harry Henry Kerr would pass away on November 6th, 1938 when he was just 46 years old.
